Is Intermittent Fasting Magic?

I don't give a sh*t if you skip breakfast.
"But Papa Swolio... I'm intermittent fasting."
The only reason that it works is because people give themselves less time to stuff their fat faces.
There's nothing magical about intermittent fasting.
All it is, is giving yourself less time to eat.
What's much more important is that you're making better food choices and creating better habits.
You're buying better foods.
You're cooking your own food.
THAT is going to give you life skills, and ensure that you are not consuming vegetable oils, seed oils, processed sugar, grains, gluten, and all that crap.
It all starts with your habits.
Are you going to a restaurant?
Are you going through a drive-through like a crackhead going around a back alley of a building and having someone hand you a greasy bag of garbage out the window?
Is that what you're doing?
Or are you buying the actual ingredients and cooking yourself up a delicious steak, a burger patty, or some eggs?
Are you making your own food?
You don't need all these extra additives.
You need fundamental nutrient-dense foods.
Quality over quantity every single day of the week.
Yes, energy balance matters.
Yes, calories matter.
But those issues of overeating will largely solve themselves when you make better food choices.
Eating nutrient-dense food will satisfy you with less quantity.
Not to mention you won't have all the side effects of allergic reactions and autoimmune responses to eating poison.
Make better food choices.
Focus on food quality.
F*ck your intermittent fasting.
Make better food choices first.
And if you don't want to eat until 2:00 pm, that's your choice.

Are you wasting time in the gym?

If you want to make consistent progress, a training program is essential.
Now, how is a training program different from exercise?
Well, you could do a lot of different things for exercise and physical activity.
But if it's not targeted and not done with intention or purpose, you will likely plateau and not get the results you want.
If you're putting in the time and the effort to make progress towards a certain goal, you need to do it right.
Why waste your time?
How many people do you see in the gym that are there every day that never change and stay the same for the 5 years that you've seen them going?
That's a waste of time.
That is literally the definition of a waste of time: doing the same thing over and over again, just going through the motions and not getting results.
Inside Swolenormous X, we have programs designed in a way to get you continuous results and to keep you from plateauing.
A plateau is a flat period where you're putting in the effort but not getting appreciable results.
These programs are designed with YOU in mind, meaning you can customize and use them so you have purpose in the gym.
So this way, you are actually TRAINING, and are not just exhausted from doing workouts randomly.
That's not the goal.
The goal isn't to be tired.
The goal isn't to be covered in your own bodily fluids.
You don't want to be tired for tired's sake.
You want to do what is required to get you stronger and to build muscle.
If this sounds like you, then join us.
Start with an actual training program that is designed for you to make progress.
That's probably my biggest pet peeve.
I always say go to the f*cking gym, but a lot of people are doing just that and only that.
They're going to the f*cking gym, and that's it.
They think that by going to the gym and walking through the doors, they're going to get results.
And that's the furthest thing from the case.
You need to make sure that you are training with intention, doing things the right way, and that you're not just going through the motions.
Don't just waste your time.
You have to be doing it right.

So you want a summer body?

I'm sure you want a summer body, John.
The 4th of July is coming up!
You might be going on vacation, but f*ck changing your habits for short-term results just so you can binge and pack all that weight right back on.
The habits that you're changing need to be for the long term.
A lot of people want to look good, I understand.
People want to look good with their shirts off or in bikinis at the beach or by the pool.
But if you're trying to get results quickly and find a shortcut, your going to fall flat on your face.
It's not about looking good for the summer, it's about looking and feeling good ALL THE TIME.
You're competing with yourself, but this isn't for a medal or a trophy.
You're not a professional bodybuilder.
You need to be investing in your health and doing things that are sustainable.
Often people make changes that they can't maintain for more than a couple of weeks.
You might lose 10 or 15 pounds of water weight, but they gain it right back with their first few margaritas and poor sleep on that cruise.
So, rather than trying to find a shortcut, start building those habits.
You need to forge your identity.
If you really want to live this life and make changes, everything about you has to change.
The way you approach your life has to change systematically over time.
And you refine, adjust, tweak, and improve little by little.
This is a long-term game.
Life is long-term.
And you will get that snowball effect, and it will become easier.
It's very easy to maintain habits once you create them and fortify them.
So understand that it takes relentless consistency, and you NEED that consistency.
Build those habits.
Be relentless.
Make NO excuses.
Focus.
Forge that identity of being someone that takes care of themselves.
Not for the summer, not for The 4th of July weekend, but ALL THE TIME.
And guess what? You're going to look great for every holiday.
You're going to look great for this 4th of July and for the next 4th of July and every 4th of July after that.
Don't do these little sprints.
You're in this for the long haul.
Make better decisions.
Make better fundamental habitual changes.
Practice those new habits, fortify them, adapt, and be ruthlessly consistent, and you'll be happier in all areas of your life.
- Papa Swolio
P.S. For a limited time, I'm giving you 20% OFF 4th of July merch - just in time for you to show off your sick f*cking gains this holiday. Use code "USA" at checkout. 🇺🇸
